In May members of Castleton Brass, welcomed Dave Charles as our new Musical Director.
Dave was born into a traditional Salvation Army family where the expectation was to play a brass instrument. That meant cornet but the trombone was always Dave’s first love.
Dave continued his trombone studies in his Bachelor of Music degree at Cardiff University. A PGCE in Music followed specialising in secondary education.
Dave plays trombone in many local ensembles and he is looking forward to developing his brass band conducting career with Castleton Brass.
We are please to announce a joint concert with Suffolk Constabulary Male Voice Choir.
